Terra Design System
Relaunching Mango’s design system: from a forgotten component library to a trusted bridge between design and engineering.
Work
A handful of projects, told properly: the context, the decisions and what actually happened. Most of my recent work is at Mango, where some visuals can’t be public, so a few covers are diagrams I drew to explain the idea instead.
Relaunching Mango’s design system: from a forgotten component library to a trusted bridge between design and engineering.
Rethinking how Terra serves its fonts: splitting families by language to cut 70% of the weight without touching the brand.
A playful swipe game that taught the recommendation engine what customers don’t like: the first gamified experience in the Mango app.
Replacing names, e-mails and trips to the stockroom with a single in-app code: an omnichannel fix with a measurable business case.
Earlier
Two projects from 2021, where I first fell for research and systems.
Archive
Before design systems, and before product design, I came from motion and brand: animation, video and advertising, first at Ricoh, then freelance for a lot of brands. It’s a different muscle to case studies, so here it is as a curious little archive instead. Press play on any row to see it.
Over the years I’ve also worked with Mediapro, Diputació de Barcelona, NUK, Roche, Sauleda, ColaCao, Bread&Fire, Siken, FrieslandCampina, Girona FC, Hostal de la Plaça, Sprint Pirates, Clicksound, Massimo Dutti, Doloditren, Prosima, Werther’s, Gaes, ODI and Ajuntament de Vilassar de Mar, among others.
And when I put the pixels down, I pick up a camera. Photography is my other great passion.

It’s fun to look back at my older portfolios too. Here’s the 2019 one (PDF).
